This year’s Elvis Week promises an unprecedented glimpse into the private life of the King of Rock and Roll, as Linda Thompson—Elvis Presley’s greatest love—prepares to share intimate, never-before-heard stories of their romance.
Having lived with Presley for four and a half years, Thompson’s firsthand accounts will offer fans a rare window into their deeply personal moments together.
On August 15, Thompson will join a star-studded panel for Conversations on Elvis at Graceland, alongside close friends and collaborators including Jerry Schilling, Tony Orlando, Brenda Lee, and acclaimed Elvis biographer Peter Guralnick. Other notable guests will include Carol Connors, Ann Moses, Sandy Kawelo, and Terry Mike Jeffrey.
Fans attending the sold-out Graceland Tour Experience—a private, after-hours event limited to just 10 people—will enjoy a guided tour of Elvis’s famed home, culminating in an exclusive Q&A session with Thompson and Schilling inside the iconic Jungle Room.
Thompson will also host Elvis: An Author’s Perspective, a special book signing for her memoir A Little Thing Called Life, where she will reflect on her time with Presley and answer questions from fans eager to hear her personal insights.
At Elvis Week 2023, Thompson captivated audiences with tender anecdotes, famously describing kissing Elvis as “like taking two big fluffy marshmallows, putting them together, and the sweetness and the softness… he did have the softest and sweetest lips.” She also shared that Elvis carried the scent of “Neutrogena soap,” leaving an impression of freshness and care.
